Evolving Imagery with Kaiber
Many creative people have lots of feelings about AI generated art. I’m going to slide by all the opinions without comment other than to say, I have some new tools available to me so I’m going to see how they work.
I learned about Kaiber when I saw a video from Linkin Park. There’s also some fascinating videos on Tiktok from noahopposition. See this one and this one! Also, Prompt Muse on Instagram.
In the positive column, Kaiber is a lot of fun to use. I really like the dream logic quality of the videos. They are also mesmerizing. I find I watch even the ones I’ve created multiple times.
In the negative column, as the app is now, I find it difficult to control the results. It makes fascinating little videos, but actual storytelling is beyond me so far. That of course could be somewhat remedied if I practiced more. I’m not really sure if this is the tool I’m looking for.
Kaiber’s tools are rapidly evolving though. The storyboarding feature looks promising. I’m going to keep working with it for now and see what else I can come up with.
